Queen Jenny’s Recommendations for Printing Scripts

The scripts are formatted to print double-sided.

When getting scripts professionally printed, I recommend asking your local print shop for a discounted price. I explain that I’m teaching a not-for-profit Shakespeare class for teens and ask them if they will give me a discounted price. They have been helpful and much cheaper than FedEx or Staples or other big box stores.

Email a PDF file of the script to the printer and ask for the following details:

  • # of scripts to be printed double-sided

  • Coil bound

  • Clear light plastic front

  • Heavy plastic backing (or heavy cardstock if that’s cheaper)

  • (optional) Cardstock Cover page

  • 1 empty piece of paper after the cover page

Alternatively, you can also ask students to print off their own scripts and put them in a thin 3 ring binder, but they tend to be less durable this way.
