Quest 1-2 Mentor Training - July 24-26, 2025
LEMI Mentor Training begins with preparatory resources to help you hit the ground running. During the immersive three-day experience, you'll dive into project-based learning through simulations, practicing effective mentoring techniques while learning to create powerful learning environments based on Leadership Education principles. This hands-on approach helps you gain the confidence and tools to lead meaningful projects with your students. After training, you'll gain access to our dedicated mentor platform for collaboration, free monthly webinars with time for Q&A, and an email accountability program. Get ready to engage, grow, and become the mentor who inspires lasting learning!
As an Apprentice Scholar-level course, Quest 3 is designed to provide students, typically ages 14-16, with a rigorous academic experience, requiring up to 15-25 hours of weekly study. As a mentor in this training, you will learn how to guide students through deep engagement with classic texts and primary sources while refining their research and writing skills. Through discussions and debates, you will help students analyze multiple viewpoints, sharpening their ability to think critically and articulate their ideas effectively. While fostering greater independence, you will also provide structured mentorship, helping students develop leadership skills, including peer teaching opportunities. Project-based learning will encourage students to integrate knowledge across disciplines, take ownership of their education, and cultivate a strong sense of purpose in their scholarly pursuits. Your role is to support students in strengthening both their hearts and minds, ensuring they develop the habits, discipline, and capabilities that will serve them throughout their academic and personal growth.
*This training is recommended for mentors with prior experience.
